Vertex Standard portable radios give you the features you need to do your job to the very best of your ability. Features such as wide band coverage of VHF and UHF for enhanced frequency options and multiple scanning for greater flexibility. Radios also include high powered audio output so you can stay in complete control in the noisiest of environments. Choose specific features depending on your exact needs and budget. Lone workers will appreciate built-in emergency notification, for example. This switches to a designated channel and sends an emergency unit ID in times of trouble. For large group communications, consider multiple channel capacity – up to 256 channels on some models that can be sub- divided into different groups.
Only Vertex Standard portable radios are designed to inform you when you and another ARTS™ (Exclusive Auto-Range Transpond System) station are within range. If out of range for more than two minutes, your radio beeps an alert so the base station can request your workers to move back into range. Communications are always secure too with Voice Encryption and programmable key lock control.
