Vertex Standard Digital Radios Now Shipping across EMEA

A new choice in digital radios for easy analogue conversion.

Basingstoke, UK - 6th June 2012 – Vertex Standard today announces the EMEA launch of its new VXD Series conventional digital land mobile radios, providing a new digital choice for users seeking to maximise their radio investment.

As a founding member of the Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) Association, Vertex Standard is offering digital radio technology based on the DMR protocol, which is the most widely adopted digital two-way radio system actively used in over 100 countries. This protocol is the ETSI DMR Tier 2 open standard which assures long-term stability and provides end users with a choice of interchangeable digital equipment to maximise productivity and return on investment.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 15 February 2011 - Vertex Standard, a leading Japanese maker of two-way radios and communications solutions, has announced its expansion plans in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region with its solution portfolio designed for commercial and industrial sectors including police, government, and security.

The introduction of Vertex Standard in MENA, in partnership with UAE-based Zener Marine, was announced at a recent dealer conference and is part of the company’s growth plans to gain a stronger presence in the strategically important region. The dealer conference, hosted in Dubai, was an opportunity for reseller partners and Vertex Standard to meet and address various topics related to future plans and the current wireless market. The event was attended by partners from countries including Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Yemen, Iraq, and Afghanistan. In addition, Zener Marine recently showcased its solutions portfolio at GITEX 2010, the largest ICT exhibition in the Middle East.
